Welcome to Great Railway Videos

On our latest production we're travelling to West Yorkshire to bring you A Journey on The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. One of the earliest standard guage Heritage Railways in the UK, the Worth Valley Line was originally run by the Midland Railway. We travel on board a Class 4F 0-4-0 No. 43924 for a trip from the Oxenhope terminus to Keighley and back. And the weather is stunning! With five cameras on the locomotive - two on the footplate alone - you're assured of the best of the action. And with our usual full commentary, you'll hear all about the line's history. Or turn off the commentary and concentrate on the sound of the 4F.

Also included with A Journey on The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is a short feature about the line, and a high speed trip from Keighley to Oxenhope following the style of the BBC's 1952 film London to Brighton in Four Minutes.

Available on DVD and in stunning HD on BluRay, A Journey on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is a must have!

Also new is A Journey on the Llangollen Railway. This Welsh standard gauge line takes us west from Llangollen along the Dee Valley. But there's a twist in the tail. There's nowhere at the terminus at Corwen for the engine to run around the carriages for the return trip, so we reverse to Carrog before completing the run around there!

Travel in style on the footplate of 5199, a Large Prairie steam locomotive built for Great Western. As always, there's informed, interesting full commentary, or you can turn it off and listen to the magnificent sounds of the locomotive alone. There are five cameras showing the driver and fireman at work, the line and the scenery along this fascinating railway. Available on both DVD and Blu-ray.

We celebrate the 25th anniversary of the saving of The Settle-Carlisle Railway from closure. In a specially commissioned unique programme featuring Michael Portillo, the government Minister who took the decision to keep the line open, we look back at the fight to save England's most scenic railway and celebrate the work that's been done since to make it the success it's become. And there's another exciting offer to save money when you order The Saving of The Settle-Carlisle Railway along with our cab ride, A Journey on the Settle-Carlisle Railway.

We've also released the next of our hugely popular cab rides, A Journey on The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, exploring the delights of La'al Ratty. This 15" steam railway has a fascinating history, and takes us on an incredible seven mile journey from the Cumbrian Coast at Ravenglass to the very edge of the Lake District's highest peaks.

In other titles, explore the delights of two narrow gauge steam railways in North Wales with A Journey on the Welsh Highland Railway and A Journey on the Ffestiniog Railway. These superb programmes feature full narration and up to five on-board cameras. And there's a special offer for you. Buy both together - on either DVD or Bluray - and get an amazing £5 discount! It's our way of saying than you for enjoying our productions.

We've also been hard at work to produce A Journey on the Furness Railway, as we travel from Lancaster to Barrow-in-Furness, complete with crossings of two wide estuaries over the sands of Morecambe Bay.

Or venture further up England's forgotten coastline with two DVDs covering the full length of the Cumbria Coast Railway, from Barrow-in-Furness to Whitehaven, and from Whitehaven to Carlisle. All feature full, informative commentary and five cameras!
